These capsules contain Loperamide Hydrochloride 2mg, an active ingredient that helps to slow down an overactive bowel, providing relief from sudden short lived attacks of diarrhea. This pack contains 6 hard capsules and is suitable for use by adults and children aged 12 years and over. Directions for use dictate an initial dose of two capsules, followed by one capsule after each loose bowel movement, with a maximum of five capsules allowed within a 24 hour period. The capsules are for oral use only. The capsules themselves are a combination of different ingredients including lactose monohydrate, maize starch, talc, magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide E171, yellow ferric oxide E172, indigotin, gelatin and erythrosine sodium.
