Country: Spain Region: Rioja
Varietal: Tempranillo, Graciano
Category: Red Wine Style: Dry
Producer: Bodegas Roda
Description:Mario Rotllant and Carmen Daurella have prioritized quality above all else since founding Roda in the late 1980s. Their goal: to be recognised as producers of one of the world’s iconic wines.
Tasting Notes:RODA I is blended with parcels that that year have ripened in a black fruit profile. The deep black fruit, is almost always dominated by the plumb and supported by mineral notes, chocolate and balsamic sensations, that form an ensemble that slowly flows from the furthest side of the glass until it becomes huge in the entrance of the nose. In the mouth, the volume becomes evident, the fruit complexity nicely surrounds the mouth cavity showing the numerous and polished tannins. The wine gets longer making stronger the retro nasal sensation every time we breathe. A fruity and fresh sensation will last, inviting us to continue drinking.

Description:
Babich Wines is New Zealand’s most experienced family owned winery. They have been proud producers of fine New Zealand wines since 1916, when Croatian immigrant Josip Babich produced his first vintage. A century on, their family business has three generations of winemaking experience behind it, 13 vineyards in New Zealand’s finest wine regions, and a passion for winemaking as a way of life. They have never lost sight of the importance of family, farming and the winemaker's craft. We make wines that are worth drinking; wines to be shared and enjoyed with friends and family.
Tasting Note:An outstanding wine in its class, made by one of the leading producers of Sauvignon Blanc in New Zealand, Babich Wines. This award-winning Black Label Sauvignon Blanc is blended from Babich’s estate-owned vineyards in Marlborough and while it retains the crisp characteristics of the region, it has a slightly richer and more textural complexity on the palate, with fleshy tropical fruits and a lingering finish.
