Description
McGinn Tuition Centre was established in 1994. It was founded by and continues to be run by Mark McGinn who is also one of the outstanding maths teachers that the Tuition Centre provides. Our school premises are located on the Main Street in Ballincollig. Our office is open every week day from 9.30am and our experienced and informative staff are available to deal with enquiries.
Each grind takes place for one hour per week in a small group. Classes are streamlined in accordance with ability. Homework is given and corrected every week and tests are given to students on a regular basis. Feedback is provided to parents in the form of regular reports and a phone call or meeting if necessary.Established 1994

A: Yes, homework is given and corrected every week and each student is expected to complete assignments on time. Homework is an extension of the grind and is a vital part of the process. Students will be advised as to how much time should be spent weekly to maximise the benefit of the grind. - Q: Who Are The Teachers ?
A: All our staff are highly experienced secondary school teachers. Many have worked at McGinn Tuition Centre for a number of years and have a proven track record. All our teachers are handpicked because of their reputation as well as their friendly and helpful approach to the students. Many of our teachers are authors of text books and senior state exam correctors. - Q: When Do Grinds Take Place ?
A: Our grinds take place from Monday to Friday after school hours. Each grind is one hour long with the exception of Applied Maths which runs for 90 minutes. Subjects are held at various times and evenings. Please contact us for specific details.
