It's hard to understand how the owner of this shop ever wanted to open a bricks and mortar shop or was actually encouraged to do so, as every time I've been in over the years, or heard her speaking to other customers, she had been at best abrasive and Bossy and at worst, rude and unpleasant. The shop is small but very well stocked and has good sales, so my advice is to buy online! Unfortunately you can't just go in and buy knitting needles or a second ball of yarn without the owner haranguing you with her odd views in life, unpleasant comments on in everything, and being really bossy about what you're going to make. However there are often good bargains to be found here so either brace yourself to find her horrible manner funny, or just buy online and enjoy avoiding her!
