Alien is one of the most distinctive feminine fragrances ever made, and its distinctiveness is deliberate. It does not follow the conventions of a typical floral or oriental. Instead it presents three elements, Jasmine Sambac, Cashmere Wood, and White Amber, in an overdosed, radiant blend that is simultaneously luminous and mysterious. The Jasmine Sambac is not the honeyed, sweet jasmine of traditional feminines. It has a solar, almost spiritual quality, sourced from India and used at a concentration that makes it unmistakable from the first moment of application. Cashmere Wood, a woody accord with a cashmeran character, adds depth and warmth that wraps around the jasmine and grounds it. White Amber provides the enveloping, skin-close warmth in the base that gives Alien its exceptional projection and longevity. Geraniol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Coumarin, and Citronellol contribute softness, warmth, and a gentle floral complexity throughout the formula. Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate and Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane act as UV filters, protecting the fragrance from photodegradation in daylight. The body lotion uses Shea Butter, Palm Oil, and Soybean Oil in a Cetearyl Alcohol base for rich nourishment and hydration, and the shower gel uses Sodium Laureth Sulfate with Shea Butter
