The solution is a clear, colourless liquid designed for auricular use, meaning it is administered directly into the ear canal. Typically, 4-6 drops should be applied 3-4 times daily, depending on the severity of the condition. If you experience no improvement within 24 hours, it is recommended to consult a doctor. Do not use Tropex if you have a perforated eardrum or if you are allergic to phenazone or any of the other ingredients, which include methyl parahydroxybenzoate and glycerol. If you are pregnant, breast-feeding, or are planning to have a baby, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. If you are taking other medications, inform your doctor or pharmacist as Tropex might affect the metabolism of medicines broken down by liver enzymes. Tropex is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery.
