Eurax Cream, a topical treatment, offers fast relief from itching and skin irritation. This cream contains 10% w/w Crotamiton and comes in a 30g tube. It is designed to alleviate discomfort caused by a variety of skin conditions. Eurax Cream is effective against itchy dermatitis, dry eczema, allergic rashes, hives, nettle rashes, chickenpox, insect bites and stings, heat rashes, sunburn, personal itching and scabies. The active ingredient, Crotamiton, provides relief and can provide relief for up to 10 hours. Eurax Cream is suitable for adults and children aged 3 years and over. To use, apply a thin layer to the affected area 2-3 times daily, and gently massage it in until fully absorbed. For children under 3 years of age, consult your doctor before use and do not apply more than once a day. For the treatment of scabies, apply to all areas below the chin including in between the fingers and toes, and repeat the treatment 24 hours later. After the treatment, a bath should be taken a day after, with a change of clothes and bedding. All contacts should be treated at the same time. The cream is formulated to be non-greasy. This product is not recommended in pregnancy and nursing mothers should avoid applying Eurax in the area of the nipples. It is important to consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Eurax if you are breastfeeding, or suffering from genital itching as well as if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist. Avoid use in or around the eyes, on broken or weeping skin. The cream contains Methyl Hydroxybenzoate which may cause allergic reactions and stearyl alcohol which may cause local skin reactions. Keep this and all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
