The key ingredients include sodium alginate 250mg, sodium hydrogen carbonate 133.5mg, and calcium carbonate 80mg. The tablets are formulated to neutralize excess stomach acid and are suitable for adults and children over 12 years old. They can be used during pregnancy or breast feeding. For children under 12 years, use only on medical advice. If symptoms persist after 7 days, consult your doctor. The tablets have a peppermint flavor and are in an off white to cream color. They are slightly mottled in appearance. Each tablet contains mannitol E421, macrogol 20000, copovidone, aspartame E951, peppermint flavoring, magnesium stearate, and acesulfame potassium. They are often taken after meals and at bedtime. These tablets also help with acid regurgitation and symptoms related to oesophagitis.
