Nurofen for Children 6 Plus Strawberry 200mg/5ml Oral Suspension is a medicine designed to provide effective relief for children aged 6 years and older. This product contains ibuprofen, a painkiller that works by changing how the body responds to pain and high body temperature. The suspension is strawberry flavored, sugar-free, and color-free, making it a pleasant option for children. This medicine is intended to reduce fever and relieve symptoms of mild to moderate pain. The product is an off-white viscous suspension. It also provides fast, effective, long-lasting relief from toothache and earache, headache, muscular minor aches and sprains, sore throat, and cold & flu symptoms. Each 5ml contains 200mg of ibuprofen. The pack includes a measuring spoon for accurate dosing. For children aged 6-9 years weighing 20-30kg, a 5ml dose should be given three times in a 24-hour period, while children weighing 30-40kg, a 7.5ml dose three times in a 24-hour period is recommended. The dose should be given approximately every 6-8 hours and should not exceed the recommended dosage in any 24-hour period. In addition to the strawberry flavoring, the liquid also contains purified water, glycerin, citric acid, sodium citrate, sodium chloride, sodium saccharin, wheat starch, xanthan gum, polysorbate 80, domiphen bromide and maltitol syrup.
