To use, twist and pull off the cap, then gently squeeze a small amount to coat the tip before inserting the tube completely into the rectum. Squeeze out the entire contents of the tube and wait at least five minutes for the solution to take effect, then allow the stool to soften. You should have a gentle bowel movement within 30 minutes. After use, discard the mini-tube. The packaging includes 4 x 5ml tubes. The rectal solution is suitable for children under 3 years old and pregnant women.
