Calpol Six Plus 250mg/5ml Oral Suspension is a sugar and colour free medicine, specially formulated for children aged 6 years and older. This strawberry flavored oral suspension provides effective relief from pain and reduces fever. Each 5 ml spoonful contains 250 mg of paracetamol. This product is designed to alleviate various discomforts including toothaches sore throats and earaches. It can also help with cold and flu symptoms reduce general aches and pains and lower high temperatures. The oral suspension is non drowsy and gentle on the stomach. The product comes with a measuring spoon to ensure accurate dosage. For children aged 6 to 8 years a 5 ml spoonful is recommended to be taken four times a day. Children aged 8 to 10 years can take one 5 ml spoonful and one 25 ml spoonful four times a day. For those aged 10 to 12 years two 5 ml spoonfuls can be taken four times a day. Children aged 12 to 16 years can take two to three 5 ml spoonfuls up to four times a day. Adults and children over 16 years can take two to four 5 ml spoonfuls up to four times a day.
