Chateau d'Esclans Whispering Angel Provence Rosé Single Bottle Gift Box

Country: France Region: Provence Varietal: Grenache, Cinsault, Vermentino, Syrah and Tibouren Vintage: 2022 Colour: Rose Style: Dry Producer: Chateau d'Esclans Arrival Date: We get miniscule amounts of Whispering Angel Description: Rosé has undoubtedly become the de rigeur drink of the summer and Ireland's perennial favourite Whispering Angel has, over the last 5 years, become one of the most in-demand wines in the world. Sacha Lichine's fabulous rosés have garnered this cult-following for many years now and deservedly so... With proper Bordeaux wine making pedigree in spades (Sacha ran Chateau Prieure-Lichine and the Whispering Angel wine-maker, Patrick Léon, was formerly director of Mouton-Rothschild!) they set out to make the finest rosés in the world. We are not alone in believing that they have achieved just this. We just popped open another bottle of the latest vintage at WineOnline.ie HQ and it was brilliantly ‘boshable’! Juicy and moreish but elegant and supple, this will hit every spot when the warmer seasons roll in As a negociant and vinificateur (winery), Caves d’esclans identifies vineyards, grapes and wines from château d’esclans as well as local growers to make what has reputedly become the world’s greatest rosé. As their objective is to obtain the best quality grapes and wines, they have created relationships with the local grape growers, committed beside Caves d’esclans, whose vineyards are treated with the same high standards of quality as are the vineyards of Château d’esclans. Tasting Note: This beautiful salmon-pink Provence rosé has a very pretty scent of crushed strawberries, peach, rose-water and orange blossom. On the palate, it is wonderfully dry and crisp with delicate summer berry fruits balanced by citrus zest acidity and a deliciously creamy finish. A fabulously sophisticated rosé that is perfect for summer picnics or evening aperi
