This handcrafted Irish fountain pen, made from 5,000-year-old Bog Oak, brings ancient history into the present, offering a meaningful writing instrument that reflects creativity, individuality, and pride of place. The elegant silhouette is accentuated with Rhodium and Black Titanium finishes, delivering a refined balance of tradition and contemporary design. Irish Bog Oak is one of the rarest and most revered timbers in the world. Formed over millennia in Ireland’s peat bogs, the wood is naturally preserved by the earth’s anaerobic conditions. The piece used in your pen predates the Pyramids and is finished using natural oils traditionally applied by Irish Bog Oak sculptors. This enhances its distinctive dark tones and allows you to fully appreciate the wood’s organic beauty, free from synthetic coatings. It accepts international standard-sized ink cartridges and converters.
