Country: New Zealand Region: Marlborough
Varietal: Pinot Noir Vintage: 2023
Colour: Red Style: Dry
Producer: Cloudy Bay
Description: Cropped at very low levels from some of the finest vineyard sites in Marlborough, Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir is opulent and aromatic with a silky palate that reveals layers of dark red fruits, savoury dried herbs, and delicious toasty oak.
Ageing Potential: 4-7 Years
Tasting Note: Appealing at once, the nose of our Pinot Noir 2018 is ripe with plum, aromatic spice and red florals. The palate is focused with a savoury architecture; bittersweet chocolate, dark fruit and spice play with leather and hints of earthiness. Chalky tannins linger on a persistent finish. We particularly enjoy our pinot noir with soy glazed BBQ pork ribs and confit of duck leg.
