The Mercian Hockey Elite CK95SC Ultimate V2 has been designed with elite play in mind. The CK95 is a high-carbon hockey stick with the Ultimate V2 bend to enhance 3D and aerial skills. PRODUCT DETAILS Following 3 years of Research & Development and testing, Mercian are able to bring CK95SC Solid Core technology to the market. This stick optimises power, weight, and balance with a vacuum-filled polymeric core, enhancing rigidity and feel. Finally, you can have the touch that a lower-carbon stick provides without compromising on carbon and power. Wrapped in high-specification Japanese Toray carbon and Tungsten Carbide Diffused Kevlar (TCDK), it uses unique resins for superior laminate bonding, delivering power, precision, and balance. The Mercian Ultimate V2 Bend, new for 2025, features an aggressive low bow for enhanced drag flicking, aerial skills, and 3D dribbling. It has a thinner toe and sculpted head for better ball control and lifting. Detail: 24.5mm bend at 200mm. KEY FEATURES: CK95SC Solid Core Technology: Optimises power, weight, and balance with a vacuum-filled polymeric core, enhancing rigidity and feel. Toray Carbon: Ultra-light composites with superior strength and rigidity, reducing weight while enhancing mechanical performance. Tungsten Carbide Diffused Kevlar (TCDK): Enhances strength and durability by diffusing tungsten carbide through Kevlar. Nano Polymer Resin: Creates a flexible but stronger bond between composite layers, increasing stiffness and reducing the risk of de-lamination. High-Quality Carbon: Preferred carbon from Japan, Germany, Scotland, and South Africa provides stiffness but can be brittle. Combining carbon with fibreglass and Kevlar enhances strength and durability. High Friction Finish: The final layer of lacquer on the face of the stick is mixed with fine grains of silicon polymer to create a texture that stops the ball spinning on contact. These tiny rubber particles 'squash' on ball impact, providing a damping effect.
