Summary Propythium contains Pythium oligandrum — a beneficial, non-pathogenic, algae-like microorganism that helps manage fungal and bacterial conditions. It’s designed for topical use, including in the ears of dogs, cats, and horses. About Pythium oligandrum is a microscopic, yeast-like organism that naturally lives in soil. Of over 50 known species, this one is particularly beneficial — found around plant roots worldwide. It works through mycoparasitism, meaning it consumes other fungi for survival. It attacks harmful fungi, extracts nutrients (such as nitrogen and carbon), kills them in the process, and then produces zoospores that actively seek out additional fungal targets and their spores. P. oligandrum also has antibacterial properties — it secretes enzymes that inhibit bacterial growth in the area while it works. Studies show that, although it reduces pathogenic bacteria, it does not disrupt the natural bacterial flora (Vallance et al., 2009 & 2012). When resources (yeast or fungi) are depleted, it encapsulates and leaves the area, allowing normal microflora activity to resume. Ingredients Olea europaea fruit oil, Helianthus annuus seed oil, Zea mays substrate, Pythium oligandrum, tocopherols. Uses The Propythium Ear Cleaner combines the antifungal and antibacterial power of Pythium oligandrum with pharmaceutical-grade olive oil. It helps relieve dogs, cats, and horses from symptoms associated with fungal or bacterial ear infections while gently cleansing and moisturizing the ear canal. How to Use Application: Apply Propythium Ear Cleaner directly into the ear canal for as long as symptoms persist (typically no more than five days). Afterward, it can be used occasionally as a moisturizing ear cleaner. Instructions: Shake the bottle well — sediment is harmless and normal. Pump a few drops of the product into the ear. Gently massage around the ear to ensure even absorption. Wipe the ear clean with gauze. Care & Safety Caution: Do n

Here's the story - roundworm and hookworm can be passed from the bitch to the unborn pups. However, there is now evidence that this is not only entirely normal but potentially protective, certainly in humans, so why not in dogs, we're not sure. But let's not open that can of...beans. Moreover, simple infections can be cured naturally but it will require monitoring with these tests to ensure you're on the right track. This particular kit contains: 1 x Worm Kit (test at 40 – 45 days of pregnancy ) 1 x Worm Kit (any time post whelping) 1 x Pooled Litter Puppy Kit (test 2 – 3 weeks of age) Please note the shipping instructions below Mums & Worms Whatever about mum entering pregnancy with an active infection (hence the first test), changes in hormones postbirth can mean dormant worms can hatch. This means regular Faecal Egg Testing of Mum and pups should be carried out post-whelping, particularly if following a natural worming protocol. In fact, we recommend testing pups again at 8 (pooled sample, as in swab them all and include in one test, if they find worms, then you can set about wondering if you need to test or simply treat them all, and again at 12 weeks, just to be sure, though we would say that!
