Islands – (2026 David Singleton Elemental Mixes) DGM & Panegyric proudly present the release of Islands (2026 David Singleton Elemental Mixes). One of the highlights of the King Crimson 50th anniversary CD/Blu-ray editions to date has been King Crimson producer David Singleton’s series of Elemental Mixes, as he uses the full spectrum of available studio sessions for each album to produce very different takes on the familiar songs and pieces. For King Crimson fans, Islands – 2026 David Singleton Elemental Mixes is both a compelling standalone listening experience and an essential companion to the original album — offering fresh insight into the sessions, a renewed immediacy to the performances, and a rare opportunity to hear this distinctive work from a radically different angle. • All new 2026 Elemental Mix of King Crimson’s classic 1971 album by David Singleton• Cut by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering• Presented on 200gram Super-Heavyweight Vinyl• Manufactured at Vinyl Factory, London Islands (Dolby Atmos Remixes, Surround Remixes and Elemental Mixes) King Crimson’s fourth album, 1971’s “Islands”, was, for many years, somewhat underappreciated in Crimson history; regarded simply as one of those albums between undisputed classics “In the Court of the Crimson King” and “Larks’ Tongues in Aspic”. This shift in attitude towards the album from listeners old and new alike was confirmed when the 27-disc “Sailors’ Tales” boxed set, which featured extensive live recordings by the Islands line-up, became one of the fastest-selling of the celebrated King Crimson boxed set series – a fitting testament to King Crimson’s second, albeit short-lived, live band.
