Their first ephemeral blend capturing the vintage’s exceptional freshness. This Mourvedre with a hint of Syrah is aromatic and surprising. Smooth and spontaneous the Mourvèdre shows its floral side with rose-petal and violet aromas balanced out with subtle notes of menthol and garrigue.
A fine, unique mead with lingering almond, refreshing citrus and honey notes. Enticing with a bright, silky finish and a lovely balance of sweetness and acidity, dry and clean. There is an initial burst of honey at first, very refreshing, followed by the almond and florals such as honeysuckle and white acacia flowers. A lovely subtle oak finish still on the tongue afterwards.
This mead shines with food such as almond or lemon tart, or cheesecake. For savoury pairings consider Durrus or Gubbeen cheeses or a herb-roasted chicken dish.
